In light of the fact that Punk has retired, I was asked to deal with the awards and have MBW act as the independent accounting firm tabulating the nominations for awards. Brian will once again graciously assist with most of the prizes and the prior years VB of the year will pay for whatever else we need prize [...]

Team VB, even without their leadout men LL and Punk, still showed their strength this morning by taking a 1-2-3 sweep of the final sprint against the sippy cup newbies. Confirming their dominance of the sport of the past several years. More to come later.

Well this morning all returned to normal. While the hill monkeys reveled in their momentary glory over the weekend, the heavyweights resumed their control of the normal morning ride(s). I thought about wading through the drivel that you girlie men pass off as literary wordsmithing to determine if any of it covered anything important like RIDING BIKES but came to my senses and decided to just come out and ask. So how’s about it? Any of you soccer dads up for a ride this Saturday and Sunday??

The official Saturday ride is scheduled for 7:00AM from the Shell station. The plan is to head out to the Congaree monument, come back through Hopkins, then on to the fort.
